YES is an amazing experience that I would recommend time and time again. The coursework was really interesting and useful professionally, and I developed lasting international friendships that I maintain six years later.

What makes YES Labs Unique?

YES Impact Labs are two-week hands-on trainings and micro think-tanks for graduate students and young professionals from all fields and countries. Together with experts from practice and science as well as local stakeholders, these global talents work on innovative solution approaches for designated sustainability challenges.

Almost 50 YES Impact Labs have taken place since 2000 to address sustainability challenges in emerging environments. In December 2016, together with the Amirkabir University of Technology of Tehran, a first YES Impact Lab was held in Iran. The right people, the right topics: YES helped me to define my career path. It taught me a simple lesson: Sustainability is not up in the air, it is down on earth right under our feet!
